This week, we're focused on technology. Of course, the instruction ALWAYS comes before the tool, but sometimes, you have an idea and just need to figure out the best way to bring that idea to life. We touch on app building, podcast recording, content curation, and share a music playlist. Take 5 and explore some tech tools with us!

Happy summer! Hope you are combining your summer learning with lots of time spent outside and energy focused on recharging before the next school year begins. In this week's post, we've got a TED Talk, a cool Google tool, a podcast, tips for managing family screen time and ways to build better group projects. Take5 and jump in! BubbleUp Take5: Cultural proficiency, native voices, drawing, and what teens need from schools6/4/2019 This week we've got all sorts of things on our mind. We've been focused on equity in our school district this year so a piece on cultural proficiency sparked my interest. I also discovered a new podcast for kids, learned about the impact of drawing on learning, and considered the teen brain a bit as well. So, take5 and share with us what you think about these stories and more! We'd love to hear from you.
We are thrilled to be featured on The Answer Key Podcast. This was a wonderful opportunity to talk with host Sandra Brennan about 21st century libraries and the power of collaboration. Plus, you know we are podcast obsessed so getting a chance to be in the studio and see all the bells and whistles behind the scenes was ah-mazing! So grab your earbuds and give it a listen. Yay!
So, take 5 minutes, look through some of the resources that have helped our ideas bubble up lately, keep counting down the days until summer, and make sure you are living and teaching each and every one of those days to its fullest.
