We hope you and yours have a happy holiday season and we look forward to meeting you back at BubbleUp Classroom on January 3! We'll be ringing in 2017 by talking about setting teacher intentions for the New Year. Until then, we wish each of you good health and happiness. Corey and Gretchen
Books. This one is hard for me to broadly write about, which probably sounds crazy coming from a librarian. But it is exactly because I am a librarian, that this is difficult for me. I like to learn about someone, to find out what he or she likes to read, to figure out what book will work best for each individual person before I recommend titles. So, please consider this an open invite to send a me a query and I'll try to suggest a solid choice or two that works for a favorite teacher, a friend, family member, or you!
But first, take 5 minutes and take a look at a few of my general suggestions as a place to start.
With the holidays right around the corner, we've got gift giving on our minds. Whether you are shopping for your child's teacher, an educational colleague, or making your own wish list, we hope you'll find gift giving inspiration in our Favorite Things list. Also, no gift list is complete without books but of course we think books are worth their own blog post so you can look forward to our Best Books for gift-giving next week in time for your holiday shopping.
